I am pleased to be able to officially welcome you to the Igala Wikipedia!

As you probably know, the wiki was created some days ago, and I've been importing the wiki during the past days, but it's taken me a while – sorry about the delay.

When a wiki is brand new, there are some issues that you might need to be aware of. Firstly, the statistics in Special:Statistics might not be correct yet, but they will usually update within a few days. Secondly, interwiki links via Wikidata are not possible yet, but when they become available, I will use JhsBot my bot to fix interwiki links for all pages that have the interwiki template.

I suggest that you start a community discussion page (village pump) where matters concerning the wiki can be discussed. Maybe at Wikipedia:Áyí Amójá, which is linked in the sidebar?

Just for the record, I see that WhatLinksHere is not working properly yet. I don't think I've ever seen that before. Doesn't that usually work immediately after importing pages? For example, notice that Igala-Benin War links to Igala Kingdom via a normal [[wikilink]], but Special:WhatLinksHere/Igala Kingdom doesn't list any pages. I don't think this is something affected by initSiteStats.php (which is run on Wikimedia wikis daily), but maybe I'm wrong about that.
